Burt's Bees Natural Skin Solutions BzzAgent Review

Hi, BzzAgent (what is that again?) StarieNite here. I am reviewing a wonderful product. Enjoy!

What does this:

Have to do with great skin?

Turns out everything! Burt's Bees new skin care line is formulated with cotton extract. The extract contains seven sugars called oligosaccharides. These wonderful little guys help my skin barrier, and reduces redness in the skin, and increase keratin. Keratin is what keeps your skin strong and flexible and helps your skin keep it's moisture. Cotton can also increase the softness of your skin and even out your skin tone.

Burt's Bees didn't stop there. They also added Rice extract which nourishes your skin, Aloe to sooth and moisturize, Eyebright which contains tannins to decrease inflammation of the skin, and White Genepi which is also an anti-inflammatory.

So about a month ago I received the Burt's Bees Natural Skin Solutions BzzKit.

I received a full size (!) tube of the cleanser and bottle of the day cream. The cleanser is a cream cleanser that is soap free, but does contain an extract from the soap bark tree to give it some lather. I didn't notice any, but that doesn't change my opinion of the product. Which is it is pretty awesome. The cleanser is fragrance free (natch), but doesn't smell medicinal. Like I said that it doesn't lather, but it does a great job of cleaning my skin, it really did leave my skin less red after cleansing like other cleanser in past have, and it rinses off easily. The cleanser is priced at $10 and I found it at my local Walgreens. The moisturizer is also really great. I apply right after my skin is cleansed. The real only problem I have with it isn't the product, but the bottle. The pump dispenses way way way to much if you aren't careful. You really only need a dime sized about amount, maybe a penny size. I found it kinda primed my skin for makeup, but be careful, if you use a mineral makeup like myself. You need to wait about 10-15 between applying the moisturizer and the makeup. I didn't and I could feel my brush was slightly damp. It also doesn't have a sunscreen, but since most sunscreens aren't natural I am not broken up about it. The moisturizer is about $14 at my local Walgreens.

The product line also includes a night cream and an eye cream. I haven't had the chance to try those products, but if the day cream and cleanser are any indiacation I am sure they will be great as well. They are about $14 at my Walgreens as well.

Even if you don't have sensitive skin this is a great product. I don't but my skin is less red after cleansing, and recently I over exfoliated and this cleanser did the trick in helping my skin heal.

Overall this product line is great. It is extremely reasonably priced and even though it is made for sensitive skin is great for anyone.
